"The Puerto Galera area has the highest diversity of marine species in the world — it forms the centre of the golden triangle — The Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia — renowned for their coral and fish species." WikipediaDive Puerto Galera — Dive Alma Jane
Puerto Galera's newest dive site features the 'MV Alma Jane Express', a 60-ton, 115-ft steel-hulled cargo ship built in Japan in 1966. Situated off Small LaLaguna Beach just a few minutes from Action Divers, Alma Jane was scuttled in March 2003 and settled upright at a depth of 30 meters. Her upper decks are at a depth of 22 meters where divers can enter the wheelhouse and cargo holds below decks. With a variety of marine life taking up residence in and around the wreck, Alma Jane has become a must dive for fish watchers as well as wreckies and techies.
